Course Overview
Delegates will learn how to implement, install and troubleshoot Windows XP Professional in a networked business environment.
Course Aims
Delegates will learn how to identify the different versions of Windows XP, identify the minimum/ recommended hardware requirements, install Windows XP Professional, upgrade existing operating systems to Windows XP Professional, configure users desktop environments, and configure, manage and troubleshoot hardware devices. Delegates will also learn how to configure, manage and troubleshoot disks, file systems, and user profiles, control desktop customization, configure, manage and troubleshoot TCP/IP based networks, and allow Windows XP Professional to co-exist with Windows 2000/NT4 domains, troubleshoot the boot process, and configure printing and printers.
Course Pre-requisites
This course assumes no previous knowledge of Windows XP.
