Course
Overview
This
course is designed to give delegates practical experience
in the administration of a RedHat Linux System. Covering the
Advanced Server and Fedora releases, this course will enable
the student to work towards the RedHat RHCT/RHCE qualifications.
With a strong emphasis on practical, hands-on training this
course will teach the essential administrative tasks required
on a Red Hat Linux system.

Aims
The delegates
will be able to understand the various RedHat product offerings,
load the operating system manually and automatically, create
an Installation server, investigate and manage hardware, be
able to backup your system, be able to configure/manager users
and groups, understand disk and filesystem management, build
and manage filesystems, create and manage RAID/LVM systems,
compile system software, control system processes, manage
software/patch installation, configure the X window system,
configure basic client networking, and perform disaster recovery
to fix a range of common problems. |
