Course Overview
Delegates will learn how to install ZENworks, upgrade the Novell client, configure application distribution, create and configure policies, image workstations, remotely manage another workstation, and perform workstation maintenance.
Course Aims
Delegates will learn how to install ZENworks 4.0 on to a NetWare 6.0 server, create application packages using snAppShot, setup and use application distribution, setup policies based on user, workstation, container, service location, and server. Delegates will also learn how to inventory a workstation, image workstations, take remote control of workstations, produce reports based on workstation inventories and software licensing, deploy ZENworks in a purely Microsoft environment, and troubleshoot ZENworks.
Course Pre-requisites
Delegates should be familiar with NetWare 6.0 administration as can be gained from our Novell: NetWare 6.0 System Administration course.
Qualification Map
This course will assist delegates towards gaining their Certified Novell Engineer qualification.
